Technical Program Manager

Manage the development of innovative platform enabling mobile game developers to use location data (similar to Foursquare, Gowalla, et al) to enhance their mobile game experience and drive additional revenue. Work with in-house development team, remote developers, contractors and outsourcers.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive features from ideation to implementation
  • Keep development team on time
  • Manage daily development tasks
  • Maintain communications between project stakeholders, on-site and off-site developers and contractors
  • Provide project plans including scheduling and cost analysis
  • Writing and updating development specifications
  • Writing and updating SDK documentation for 3rd party partners
  • Running short iteration development cycles (using SCRUM/Kanban methodology)
  • Maintaining internal project status information (stories/features/issues) in company intranet (Jira)

Qualifications:

  • Good technical writing skills
  • Understanding of SCRUM and/or Kanban agile development methodologies
  • Good communication skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Basic technical drawing skills (diagrams, mockups)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Programming skills preferred
  • Video game or mobile industry experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
